PremiumTrust Bank kicked off its operations in April 2022 with a solid front in the three major economic bulwarks in Nigeria viz Abuja, Lagos and Port Harcourt. DR. PEREZ ARAKA
Dr Perez Peremelade Araka has over two decades post graduate experience in the oil & gas and emerging sector. He is currently the Chairman/CEO of Gaplinks Energy Limited, PrimeWash Limited, and Greener Project.
Perez holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Agricultural Engineering, MSc and PhD in Environmental Engineering from Rivers State University, Port Harcourt.
An experienced and accomplished Engineer, He is a member and affiliate of several indigenous and international professional bodies like The Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), The Nigerian Institution of Agricultural Engineers (NIAE), The Nigerian Institution of Environmental Engineers (NIEE) and the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE). He is also a Fellow of The Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE) and The African Business School (FABS).

EMMANUEL EFE EMEFIENIM
Emmanuel Efe Emefienim is an accomplished Banker with over 30 years experience spanning Middle and Senior Management levels within Operations, Treasury and Marketing functions since 1992.
Prior to joining Premium Trust Bank, he contributed immensely to the growth and success of Sterling Bank PLC rising from the position of General Manager in 2016 where he was responsible for the bank’s Commercial & Institutional Banking business in the South-South, South-East and Midwest Regions. Emmanuel is credited as the only Regional Business Head in the history of Sterling Bank to have run the most profitable regional business for 7 consecutive years (2011-2017). In 2018, Emmanuel was appointed to the Board of Sterling Bank PLC as Executive Director with responsibilities to oversee the Institutional Banking Directorate. Until his resignation in March 2022, his directorate was the most profitable year-on-year for three consecutive years.
He had earlier worked as the Head, Credit & Marketing at Oceanic Bank (now Ecobank Plc) 1992 – 1997; Manager, Commercial Banking Division at United Bank for Africa (UBA) PLC (1997 -2000) and then had a six-year stint at Savannah Bank PLC and FSB International Bank PLC (now Fidelity Bank PLC ) before joining Equatorial Trust Bank (ETB) in 2006. In ETB, he was an excellent performer managing the entire South-South region, a position he retained post ETB/Sterling Bank merger in 2011.
Emmanuel is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School where he graduated from the GMP and AMP programmes; the Wharton School, Pennsylvania (AMP 73 Class of 2017) and INSEAD. He had his B.Sc. (Hons) in Microbiology, M.Sc. in Banking & Finance and MBA, all from the University of Benin, Nigeria.

BUKOLA AWOSANYA
Bukola Awosanya has well over 30years of banking experience, she commenced her banking career with the defunct Abacus Merchant Bank Limited, had a stint with Magnum Trust Bank Limited, and Sterling Bank Plc. Over her career, she has worked and led teams across various departments such as Branch Operations, Domestic Operations, Treasury Operations, Credit Administration, Export Finance, Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, Compliance, Agriculture and Solid Minerals Finance some of which she pioneered in different Institutions.
Bukola is a graduate of Agriculture from University of Ibadan and an MBA from Business School Netherlands. She is an alumnus of Lagos Business School and attended various courses at Wharton Business School, Columbia Business School, Harvard Business School and a Honorary member of Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).
Prior to her appointment as an Executive Director, she was, the Divisional Head, Agriculture and Solid Mineral Finance at Sterling Bank Plc, a position she held until November 2021 before retiring meritoriously. She has participated in several local and international trainings and workshops in diverse subject areas such as Youth and Gender, Risk Management, Compliance, Management, Digitization, Agribusiness and Leadership to mention a few.
Bukola is also a member of the Institute of Directors of Nigeria (M.IoD) , Member of the Institute of Animal Science of Nigeria and a Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration (FICA). She was the Team Lead Market Linkages thematic group of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) and Chairperson of African Rural and Agricultural Credit Association (AFRACA) Nigerian Chapter.

SHINA ATILOLA
Shina Atilola is a Consummate Strategist and Business Development expert with over 24 years experience in the banking industry, covering Business Strategy, Marketing Communication, Branding, Auditing, Mergers &acquisitions and Sales for top financial institutions. He is a strategic and growth-focused executive with a proven record of accomplishment, leading teams responsible for designing innovative strategies, identifying emerging opportunities, executing value-creating transactions, structuring productive relationships, launching new products, maximizing profits, and building successful businesses and partnerships.
Shina Atilola holds a First Class degree and an MBA in International Relations from Obafemi Awolowo University Ife. He is a proud recipient of the Rtd. General Joe Garba’s prize for the overall best graduating student in International Relations.
Shina is driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and thrives in challenging and fast-paced environments. He started his banking career in Ecobank and later moved on to work with legacy institutions that formed Heritage Bank, thereafter, progressed to First Bank and Sterling Bank. He led both the initiation and execution of Sterling bank’s strategic pillars, namely Digitization, Specialization and Agility. This resulted in the ideation and implementation of various digital platforms such as SPECTA, DOUBBLE, SWITCH, and focus sectors – Health, Education, Agriculture, Renewable Energy and Tourism (‘HEART’ of Sterling). He successfully incubated and launched Sterling’s Micro & Agency Banking.
Shina is an associate member of both the UK and Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, an Honorary member of CIBN and a member of Lagos Business School Alumni Governing Council. He is an alumnus of INSEAD Business School, Maastricht School of Management and Wharton Business School amongst others.
In 2015, he was recognised as one of the top 100 most impactful CSR leaders in Africa and emerged as one of the top 100 global leaders in 2017. He also loves to read and play Lawn Tennis.

Olugbenga is a versatile Management Consultant and an Executive Coach with an in-depth understanding of Organisational Strategy, HR Management and global best practices in Organisational Development.
Olugbenga is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants, Nigeria and the Institute of Strategic Management, Nigeria. He is also a Member of the Institute of Personnel Management Nigeria (CIPM), Nigerian Institute of Training and Development and an Alumnus of London Graduate School.
He holds a First Degree in Industrial and Labour Relations, an MBA (Human Resources Management), and an MSc in Organizational Behaviour.

NEVILLE ATIGAN
Neville Atigan is the Group Chief Operating Officer of SkyView Capital Limited. Prior to joining SkyView Capital in 2008, Neville had a 7 year stint in the oil & gas sector (2000-2007) where he supervised projects at the Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) ForcadosYokri Integrated project
Neville holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Edo State University, Ekpoma, and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Benin.
He is a professional member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), USA, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Human Resources and Strategic Management, and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Administrations, and several other professional bodies.

Sir EMMANUEL ONYEKWENA
Sir Emmanuel Onyekwena is a seasoned technocrat with deep experience in management. With an academic background in Engineering Production and a Masters in Business Administration. His over 20 years’ career experience cuts across renowned organisations such as Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) and other oil majors.
Among many awards, Mr Onyekwena was given the European award for best practices by the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR) and won the PETAN award for excellence in service delivery to the oil & gas industry. His competence spans across innovation, organizational development, conflict management, leadership and client relationship management. He is affiliated with the Nigerian Institute of Safety Professionals, International Institute of Safety Management, British Safety Council and the Nigerian – Canadian Business Association among many others.

CHARLES OBUKOFE
Charles Omoefe Obukofe has almost thirty years experience in the Banking industry and held senior management positions in Equatorial Trust Bank Limited and Sterling Bank PLC, where he retired in March 2022 as an Assistant General Manager. Over his career , Charles has had exposures and experience in Regional Banking, Credit Risk, and Relationship Management. His professional career started at the defunct North-South Bank PLC in 1992.
Charles holds a B.Sc. in Finance from the University of Nigeria and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Ondo State University. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).
He has attended several Executive and Banking-specific courses in leading educational and professional institutions, including Harvard Business School, Boston, USA, and Emeritus Institute of Management.

Anthony Adejugbe has over two decades post graduate experience in the oil & gas downstream sector. He is currently the chairman/CEO of AllShore Corporate Ventures Limited and Bernadette Grace Limited providing Engineering, Construction, and consultancy services across the downstream sector.
Adejugbe holds a Higher National Diploma in Applied Chemistry from Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti and MBA from Lincoln University California.
Prior to his retirement in 2001, Adejugbe was a Director in ADEP international Ventures Ltd and a consultant to Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) on supply and distribution of refined petroleum products

DR. GODWIN ABHULIMEN
Dr Godwin Abhulimen has over 29 years of experience in the Oil and Gas sector. He is currently the Managing Director/CEO of Desag Engineering and Services Limited, a major stakeholder in the Oil & Gas and Marine industry.
Dr Godwin holds a BSc degree in Sociology (B.Sc. Sociology) from the University of Calabar, Nigeria, an Executive Masters degree in Project Management from the prestigious Project Management Institute, UK, a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) and a Professional Doctorate in Commerce (DCom) from Liberal Bilingual University, Togo.

Temitope Mark, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the financial and consultancy sector. Tope is a distinguished graduate of Accounting from the University of Lagos (1991). He furthered his academic pursuits, earning a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Delta State University and an MSc in Accounting from Novena University, Delta State.
Tope is a member of several esteemed professional bodies, showcasing his commitment to excellence. As a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria since 1997, he holds a distinguished position in the field. Additionally, Tope is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria and the UK, further highlighting his commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards. He is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
With an impressive banking career spanning over 23 years (1991-2014), Tope has accumulated significant experience across various facets of the profession. His journey began with the mandatory National Youth Service program at the Central Bank of Nigeria, Sokoto Branch, in 1991. Tope then served in different capacities at All States Trust Bank Plc (1992-1998) and Standard Trust Bank Plc (1998-2001), where he notably functioned as the Group Head of Customer Services, overseeing the entire South-South geopolitical zone.
Tope’s seven-year tenure at Devcom Bank Ltd/Equatorial Trust Bank Ltd (2001-2007) saw him reach Senior Management levels, with responsibilities for business development across the South-South Zone. Joining United Bank for Africa Plc in 2007, he ascended to an Executive Management role, ultimately becoming the Regional Bank Head for Edo and Delta States. His supervisory role covered numerous branches until 2014 when he resigned at the grade level of Assistant General Manager.

VICTOR OLUMIDE OLOWOGORIOYE
Victor Olumide Olowogorioye is a seasoned Chartered Accountant, accomplished Banker, and Finance and Management Expert with extensive experience in Audit and Taxation, Banking, Business Development, Credit, and Marketing. Having spent over two decades in the Financial Sector, he progressed to senior management positions before diversifying into management and financial consulting, as well as private business.
Mr. Olowogorioye is a proud member of several Professional Bodies, including the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN),

MS. LEWA JUSTINA AKPOABUGO
Justina Akpoabugo Lewa has over 32 years experience in Legal Practice. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Jos, and Master of Law degree from University of Lagos and the Nigerian Law School.
Justina started her career with the Ministry of Justice, Jos, Plateau State as a State Counsel from August 1989 to September 1990 before she was employed by NAL Bank PLC in September 1990 as Supervisor within the Legal & Company Secretariat Department and later appointed Senior Manager, Legal & Company Secretariat & Head, Debt Recovery Team in 2005.
Justina later joined Sterling Bank PLC in January 2006 following the consolidation exercise of the banking industry and was appointed Assistant General Manager and Head, Legal Department in 2007.
In June 2009, Justina was appointed by the Board of Directors as Company Secretary & Chief Legal Counsel, and Group Head, Credit Collections & Recovery. As Group Head, Credit Collections & Recovery, she was responsible for setting and executing strategic goals for recovering the bad loan portfolio of the Bank and ensuring that criticized assets remain performing. She was also appointed Company Secretary & Legal Adviser of Sterling Bank’s subsidiary Companies: Sterling Asset Management Company Limited (SAMTL) and the Nigerian Stockbrokers Limited (NSL) from 2009 to 2011.

Chukwuemeka Nwaogu is the pioneer Chief Legal Counsel and Company Secretary of PremiumTrust Bank, responsible for leading the bank’s global legal and company secretarial functions. With nearly two decades of multi-disciplinary experience in legal advisory, corporate governance, company secretarial, compliance and risk management, Emeka has navigated the legal waters of the Financial Industry from Insurance through Fintech and now Banking – all the way providing strategic and solution-oriented legal expertise in diverse transactions.
Emeka started his blossoming legal career as an in-house Solicitor with International Energy Insurance Plc (IEI), a market-leading energy insurance publicly listed company. At IEI, he rose to the position of Head of Legal and was strategically redeployed to pioneer and head the compliance unit.
Best described by his peers as “admirable on the law”, Emeka honed his advocacy skills when he subsequently trailblazed a new frontier in his legal career by setting up the first specialized insurance law firm in Nigeria. In addition to its core litigation and advisory functions, the law firm provided corporate secretarial services to various financial institutions. In 2019, Emeka joined Paycom Nigeria Limited (“OPay”), as their pioneer Chief Legal Counsel & Chief Risk Officer, successfully overseeing an investment portfolio of over $150million and managing the legal portfolio of OPay’s strategic affiliates such as ORide, OWealth and other strategic investments and acquisitions.
With a Bachelor of Law from the distinguished University of Nigeria and a Master’s in International & Commercial business law from the University of East Anglia, Norwich, Norfolk, United Kingdom, he has since demonstrated expertise in Commercial and Business transactions; an expertise that reflects in his rare ability to minimize legal risks and contractual liability associated with any business operations.
Emeka is an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria, the Nigerian Bar Association and the International Bar Association.
