Offer at a glance
What it means to own shares
An Initial Public Offering, or IPO, is when a company offers its shares to the public for the first time. When you buy shares, you become a part owner of the company.
The number of shares you buy shows how much of the company you own. However, buying shares does not guarantee that you will make money. The value of your shares can appreciate or depreciate.
Possible benefits of buying shares
Own part of the company: Buying shares makes you a shareholder in the company.
Your shares may increase in value: If the company does well, the value of your shares may rise. It may also fall.
Spread your investments: Buying shares can help you avoid putting all your investments in one place.
You may receive dividends: The company may share part of its profit with shareholders. This payment is called a dividend. Dividends are not guaranteed.
Before you invest, read the official offer documents carefully and make sure you understand the risks.
